When is the Fall 2024 Season?The 2024 soccer season will run from September 3rd through October 26st. We have practice on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school and games on Saturday. Practice schedule is as follows: - Kindergarten: 4pm-5pm - 1st Grade: 3pm-4pm - 2nd, 3rd & 4th Grade: 5pm-6pm Game Schedule starting September 7: - Kindergarten: 9am - 1st Grade: 10am - 2nd, 3rd & 4th Grade: 11am

What is the Practice schedule and format?Practices are one hour long, held on Tuesdays & Thursdays on the Bacich field. -Kindergarten: 4pm-5pm -1st Grade: 3pm-4pm -2nd, 3rd & 4th Grade: 5pm-6pm Practices are run by our staff of professional coaches and include a variety of age-appropriate drills, scrimmages and fun games that are sequenced week over week to build skill sets. Marin Enrichment students will be picked up and dropped off at their M.E. class. Please inform Marin Enrichment that your child is playing at Kentfield FC before the season. Parents are welcome to watch practice, but not interfere.

What is Game Day like?All games are played on the Bacich field. Games start promptly on the hour. Players should arrive 15mins before their start time dressed and ready to warm up with their assigned team. Games are small-sided with two 20-25min halves and a 5min half time. Kentfield FC coaches referee the games while supporting the players with additional coaching. Game Schedule is as follows on Saturdays starting September 7: - Kindergarten: 9am - 1st Grade: 10am - 2nd, 3rd & 4th Grade: 11am You may park for free in the front or back Bacich lots or along Sir Francis Drake.

What Gear does my child need for the season?Two jerseys (1 Black + 1 White) and a pair of black shorts will be provided as part of your registration. Please bring BOTH jerseys to all practices and games. We encourage players to wear their jersey to school on practices days (pack the other in their backpack.) All players should also have: - Soccer cleats - Shin guards - White soccer socks - Water bottle + sunscreen as needed

Are there tryouts?There are no assessments for the rec program. All skill levels are welcome!

Who are the coaches going to be? What kind of training do they receive?We have local coaches with a coaching methodology developed by top youth developers in North America.

Can players who do not go to Bacich sign up?Space-permitting, other local elementary-aged students who will be in grades TK-4 in fall of 2024 can register.

How much does it cost to play on Kentfield?Fall 2024: $480 per season. Includes 2 jerseys (black & white) and 1 pair of black shorts.

If my child is signed up for Marin Enrichment after care, can they still play with Kentfield FC?Yes! We work closely with Marin Enrichment to bring players to and from after care and soccer. Please notify Marin Enrichment if your child will be playing soccer with Kentfield FC.

Are transitional kindergarten kids able to participate?If you think your kid is mature enough to play with the kindergarteners, you may sign them up in the kindergarten group.

What is the commitment that’s expected to play soccer?Kentfield FC encourages a high level of commitment from players and their families. During the season, players are expected to attend all practices and games. Teams practice twice a week for one hour and play one game on Saturdays (subject to change).

What home field will Kentfield FC be using?All games and practices are held at Bacich Elementary School.

Will there be uniforms for the players?Yes, uniforms will be provided and are included with the registration fee only in the fall season. You will need to purchase your own socks, shin guards and soccer cleats.

Why Kentfield FC?Kentfield was lacking our own soccer program until now! Since 2021, we have offered a new program run by professionals in the soccer industry. We have been playing and working in soccer for most of our lives and are passionate about creating a fun, professionally-run program for the Kentfield & Greenbrae communities. Kentfield Futbol Club works closely with the Kentfield School District to collaborate in the support of the program. We are committed to offering a program that is accessible to all members of the Bacich community regardless of socio-economic status. Please fill out our financial aid form if you need assistance with registration fees.
